A Family's Ascent:Our Seagull Mountain Resort
Last year, Dad declared a family vacation was in order – a much-needed escape to Barangay Lorega, in Davao City's Marilog District. School was out, and it was the perfect opportunity to reconnect with our cousins, aunt, and uncle. Uncle, ever the planner, decided to take the reins, arranging a trip to a place he'd heard about: Seagull Mountain Resort. We prepared snacks and drinks, anticipating a refreshing swim in the resort's pool. The drive itself was an adventure. The journey, though only about 30 minutes from where Uncle was taking us, felt longer, winding through scenic landscapes. Three hours from Davao City, the resort finally emerged into view, a welcome sight after the journey. Seagull Mountain Resort, nestled amongst the hills, is a hidden gem.
